FAQs
How do I book a session with you?
Appointments can be requested through email or through the "Contact" tab. Please leave your mobile number so the clinician can give you a quick call to discuss availability.
Please note NDIS clients require a service booking in addition to a consent form, which will be emailed to you or your plan manager.
Indicate clearly the modality you are requesting i.e., psychology or music therapy
What are your fees?
Prices vary according to the funding and rebate you receive from the government.
NDIS clients are invoiced as per NDIA guidelines: $210 per session.
Medicare rebate: $175 per 50 minutes with a rebate of $88.25 (you only pay the difference).
Private health care rebate: Psychology sessions may be reimbursed by your private health insurer. Please check your eligibility with your insurer. $175 per 50 minutes (you will pay in full and claim the difference from your insurance).
Students and other private paying clients without any rebates are eligible for a sliding scale for affordability. Please discuss your situation with the clinician.

Does NDIA fund psychology and music therapy?
Yes.
NDIA funds both psychology and music therapy interventions. You will need to be accepted into NDIA first to receive funding.
What if I need to do a late cancellation, late reschedule, or missed an appointment?
Unlike a busy medical clinic where another client can be easily booked in to replace your appointment slot, it is rather difficult to replace a 50 minutes slot at short notice, hence, a cancellation fee/cost is applied.
NDIA cancellation policy applies to NDIS clients.
For Medicare and private clients:
No charge if clients inform the practice with more than 48 hours' notice.
A $50 fee is charged if it is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours and a $100 of their regular fee is incurred if they cancel, rescheduled or missed an appointment within 24 hours.
Please note, that clients cannot claim from Medicare or private insurance for these situations.
Do you see clients on Saturdays and after-hours?
Yes, Saturday and after-hours sessions are available at the same cost.
